FAQ

Can I make this stir-fry vegetarian?

Yes, swap the minced beef for crumbled tofu or a plant-based mince. Sauté it the same way until browned, then continue with the vegetables and sauce as written.

What can I use instead of oyster sauce?

If you don't have oyster sauce, hoisin sauce or a bit more soy sauce with a pinch of sugar gives a similar savory-sweet balance.

How do I store leftovers?

Keep the stir-fry in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheat it in a hot pan or wok so the vegetables stay crisp instead of turning soft in the microwave.
