Ingredients for chicken fennel
4 chicken breast bites
2 onions
2 garlic cloves
1 fennel bulb
Olive oil
200 ml orange juice
200 ml white wine
200 ml cream
200 ml vegetable broth
200 ml cream + 200 ml oat cuisine
1 tsp paprika powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions for chicken fennel
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit), with both upper and lower heat.
Chop the onions, garlic, and fennel into small pieces.
Sear the chicken breast bites in a pan with olive oil until they are golden, then remove them from the pan and continue cooking in the preheated oven.
In the same pan, sauté the fennel, onions, and garlic for approximately 5 minutes.
Deglaze the pan with orange juice. Remove the fennel from the pan and continue cooking it in the oven along with the chicken for an additional 15 minutes.
Deglaze the pan with white wine and allow it to reduce. Then add cream, oat cuisine, and vegetable broth.
Add paprika powder and season the sauce with salt and pepper to your taste. Optionally, you can also infuse some ginger into the sauce.
Retrieve the chicken and fennel from the oven and combine them with the sauce in the pan. Mix everything well and briefly heat it.
