Summer is made for Açai-Bowls

It's summer, it's hot, it's time for something fresh. Exactly this craving we feel so often on hot days in summer. Usually the appetite is not so big, you need a lot of water and a little refreshment would not be too bad. Especially after sports, acai bowls are one of our favorites. Not only rich in antioxidants, but also a vitamin bomb for the body. The simplicity of the preparation is especially appealing to us. In addition, the different possibilities of the varieties with various toppings let your bowl never get boring.


Ingredients

  • Frozen bananas & berries (for a creamy and flavorful base)

  • Acai puree (frozen) 150ml

  • Agave syrup or very ripe bananas

  • Oat milk

  • Toppings (coconut, almond, fruit, cornflakes,...)


Instructions

More than easy to prepare and ideal for mixing. The bananas, berries and acai in the blender. For the cold fans, add some ice cubes for the extra slush. Turn on the blender long enough until everything is a homogeneous mass and the blender finally becomes more quiet....Next, pour the mixture into a bowl. Then top the bowl with whatever you like or whatever is handy. Most of the time we go wild and put almost everything in. But don't overdo it with the ingredients and just cover the surface. It can quickly become too sweet or too much. Our favorite toppings include almonds, coconut, raspberries, strawberries and just plain granola.


Resumé

In conclusion, you can snack the dish quite often. Easy to prepare and you have almost everything at home. But watch out and don't eat too much and catch a sugar shock in after the 2nd bowl a day. Personally, we find it more suitable for the summer, but also great for a sunny spring day.
