  • 200 g oyster mushrooms

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

  • 1 tsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp plant-based butter

  • Fresh thyme (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • A pinch of chili flakes (optional)

Instructions for Scallops out of Oyster Mushrooms

  1. Preparation Slice the oyster mushrooms into thick pieces – they should resemble the size of scallops. This ensures the right texture.

  2. Searing Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the mushroom slices and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  3. Add Garlic and Soy Sauce Add the finely chopped garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice to the pan and sauté briefly with the mushrooms until the garlic is fragrant.
